Good afternoon everybody!!!! How is your Monday going? Today, we had our first official day off from any and all responsibility. It was extremely nice to have. We have had basically 8 performances in the last 8 days in 7 different places. It has been CRAZY!!!! But we have had an absolute blast though! Last night we went to Zoar Mennonite Brethren Church in Inman, KS. We got there at like 4:30 pm and set up and then ate supper with a lot of their High School youth and then away we went. We had so much fun! It is totally amazing getting to enjoy yourself and serve Christ at the same time!! We also had a speed teardown session. We tore down all of our equipment from start to locking the trailer in right at 21 minutes. We were smoking right along!!! It was cool but exhausting. The people at Zoar were very appreciative of the message that we brought and the way in which it was presented. Thank you Lord for your goodness and mercy to us in allowing Your word to be sent and received through us! You never cease to amaze me!!!

A passage that I have really loved here as of lately is found in 2 Corinthians 5:20-21. These verses are located in a group of passages where it talks about reconciliation; God reconciling us to Himself and us reconciling our differences with others. It says "We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." That is very powerful. It is overflowing with God's love and desire for relationship with us. Am I doing everything in my power to love God and love others every day? I doubt that. Am I letting the 'sun go down' on my anger or on my resentment for another? I'll have to think about that.
